This weekend @focusonlabour.bsky.social staff met with Voice of Domestic Workers to discuss the intersecting challenges of employment and migration.
We also looked at how the government's upcoming Fair Work Agency needs to work, for domestic workers to be able to work without risk of exploitation.

In last Sunday's workshop with @KingsCollegeLon @Kalayaan @AfterExpProject, VODW's Future Voices Revolution group wrote letters to MPs @stephenctimms @stellacreasy @SeemaMalhotra1 calling for reform of the Overseas Domestic Worker Visa. We look forward to their replies!

VODW launched a new training program from the successful Future Voices program which as delivered by @sounddelivery. FV Revolution are alumni from FV1, 2 &3. They are stronger, bolder, braver and louder, they are the unstoppable FV Revolution! www.thevoiceofdomesticworkers.com/futurevoices...

The Board of Trustees of #thevoiceofdomesticworkers are made up of Domestic Workers and non-domestic workers, every other month they meet to discuss the management, finances, services and updates. It is the role of non-domestic workers to guide and support the domestic workers Trustees.
