Alex Pretti, nurse, VA researcher, American cltizen, executed by US Government in broad daylight, Jan. 24, 2026. I doubt we will hear from those who so often speak about the Second Amendment about how this man was executed for exercising that right. Rest in Power.

Fear has always been used to motivate the masses, but just like young Balck boys are so often portrayed as threats to be neutralized, we must all take notice of the scheme to suggest that a 5 year old of Meso-American descent is treated like a criminal.

Going after the worst of the worst??

I will keep singing to remind myself of joy in a world where being scared when you are surrounded is justification for killing you…

I want to believe there is a strategy, but it feels like we were finally pushing back and our representatives caved. I still prefer them to the alternative, but we deserve better…

I researched an effort from 2020 to help with food insecurity. Does anyone know what this mega church is doing to help with the current crisis created by Trump’s choices?

This is such a wonderful idea. It is a shame that the original immigrants/ colonists suppressed the culture of the indigenous inhabitants

At the time, Bob Fletcher knew that the narrative about “national security” was allowing people to steal land and profits. He knew what was right.

“with these instructions: “Go to the village there ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied up with her colt beside her. Untie them and bring them to me. And if anyone says anything, tell him, ‘The Master needs them’; and then he will let them go at once.”

Lloyd Gaines earned admission to the University of Missouri Law School. He won a Supreme Court case, but then disappeared. Remember this when they tell us racism no longer exists…

“In 1947, out of more than 3,200 VA-backed home loans in 13 Mississippi cities, only two were given to Black applicants.

Of the 67,000 GI Bill-backed mortgages issued in New York and northern New Jersey, fewer than 100 went to non-white veterans.”
