Temple of Dread were great yesterday glad I finally got to see them. Stromgitarreneinsatz is alwayd worth the 5 hour drive.

Blood, Fire, Death is being booked suspiciously high at a lot of festivals. Saw them last year at Party San and it was really good but they got the Saturday morning tribute band slot then and showed up nowhere near that high on posters. Here's another example with WOA placing them next to Tryptikon

Some of the lineup for next year, I'm pretty happy already especially with Temple of Dread getting a chance

Can highly recommend all three of these even at full price, great music and the patch is also really good.

Finally new release by what is definitely one my personal top 3 german death metal bands. Very old school similar to Entombed and Dismember

Listening to this album on my trip to and from work for multiple days in a row. One of the best death metal records of last year imo. Also highly recommend Hades Unleashed and Beyond Acheron the two predecessors by Temple of Dread

New Mantar album Post Apocalyptic Depression absolutely rips, I vibe with it a lot more than the last one which felt a little low on energy at times. If you like Sludge give it a go.

Got myself some Mantar pins since the new album is about to drop. First single (Rex Perverso) was excellent btw

Thinking about Martyrdöd-Hexhammaren again, really hope they release a new album soon. It's getting close to 6 years now.

If you haven't given this one a listen it's excellent D-Beat with a healthy dose of Death Metal. Lyrics are a mix of Swedish and English.

Listened to this on the way to and from work, grabbed it randomly at a stall at Party.San last year and was not disappointed great Death/Thrash with a lot style. Sounds like a mix between Death and Slayer, especially because their singer Marc Grewe (ex-Morgoth) at times really sounds like Tom Araya

And another one of my favs, also confirmed for Stromgitarreneinsatz this year which I will hopefully visit again.
Very oldschool and just an absolute banger.
