Is that the level where you wash the house in Blue Prince?

Depends how it’s handled. Metroid has often been about leaving it to the player. I can see it being intrusive and ruin the flow if it’s bad and stretched out but for an intro? Sure, as long as it’s not an hour+ of handholding.

Ah, it sounded like you hated it and didn’t want it to exist hahaha. But it feels pretty damn open ended right now and can probably go so many ways. I don’t know what they’ll do with it but I can’t wait to find out.

That’s harsh. I’m curious to see where it goes and confident in his ability to make a great show. Feels it’s always a slow burn with him and I’m already pulled in to go along for the ride.

Maybe playing it will be different. I guess watching a trailer for Metroid Prime wouldn’t be terribly exciting today and it’s still so fun to play. But Samus is agile and quick on her feet and it certainly feels that way playing her in Dread. That doesn’t translate well into FPS today with Prime 4.

I get it’s Metroid Prime. But nothing gives it that freshness I expected the series to have after being dormant for so long. Maybe the latest 7 minute overview has that but I kinda want to avoid watching it. I’ll still play it, just not hopeful about it.

And now the post game stuff… whew.

Some 30 hours. Probably could’ve done it quicker if I didn’t do so much side stuff which there is still plenty to do.

It’s pretty great so far. I can see the repetition setting in pretty quickly but I mean I’m still having a fun time. Sometimes you just wanna whack hundreds of enemies and see flashy attacks.
