I really do enjoy the MissyHissy one but with the remove fulfillment package. The life fulfillment was a cool idea but it mostly just made non-active sims sad all the time, but the want overhaul itself is great!

It definitely is! I always wait several days before I update because of it. Luth's broken mods post on the EA forums is super helpful! If you use more adult mods Scarlet has a list as well.

I think Lot 51 core is not compatible with the pack selector itself, not the update!

As far as I'm aware it's using the pack selector to uninstall packs plus using script mods that breaks things. The update itself should be okay as long as you make sure your mods are up to date. I made a backup and took my mods folder out while I updated. Then updated them. So far so good in my game

That's not breaking the game. That's breaking the script mods. Always update without your mods in and check that they're compatible.
