The complete lack of shame is what gets me. These people truly have no honour, no soul. How is it possible that voters vote for these human dumpster fires.

I mean any trans woman should be eligible to compete in any competitive women's sporting competition, collegiate, amateur or professional, whether as a member of a team or as an individual. No restrictions. If you identify as a woman, you are eligible.

I think (hope) that treating trans women with dignity and respect, no discrimination wrt to housing, jobs, etc, would be a (significant) majority opinion. I think that "trans women should compete without restriction" is a (small) minority opinion. Does this exclude trans women from the coalition?

I agree with this, and your thread eloquently illustrates it. But there are issues that are mostly cultural, not economic. "Trans women should be allowed to compete in competitive women's sport without restriction" is not primarily economic. And even where it is, it cuts both ways.

This is very good. And this kind of inclusivity also feels doable in practice. But I think it is social/cultural rather than economic issues that are devisive, and that alienate many people that would otherwise be natural allies. It is those issues that the right is exploiting so successfully.

If we end up defeating the current march to fascism and re-establish the rule of law, the biggest mystery to future scholars will be why we did nothing to defend ourselves from the onslaught of rage bait and misinformation. Even the EU, regulator-in-chief, did nothing.
