I love the photo, but is it real? Wikipedia says that totality for that eclipse was 17:21--20:50 UTC, which would have been late morning/early afternoon in Chiapas (Central time zone). Would the sun have been that low to the horizon?

It's galling when some software/services refuse to turn it off. The last time I looked at Bing, for example, it had a Settings option to turn off AI results. Which, when selected, changed nothing.

Yes, this. The rally in downtown Minneapolis was full of joy. Maybe being there, together, with shared purpose, helped us all feel less alone and doomed.
