Stablecoins are backed by US Treasuries. If USDT and USDC are the so-called preferred tools for laundering money and illicit transactions then the US government is complicit since stablecoins prop up the US Treasury market, lower yields, and reinforce US dollar dominance. #awkward

The real-world value and effectiveness of Bitcoin is being demonstrated in real-time by its results — not by endless debates with knowledge-resistant misologists. #btc #bitcoin

No use cases?

P2P and B2B payments. Cross-border remittances. Preserving purchasing power in countries with unstable currencies like Argentina, Turkey and Venezuela. Merchants accept BTC for goods and services. Financial inclusion for the unbanked. Treasury management. Legal tender. #btc #bitcoin

Stablecoin price stability (backed by USTs) means that criminal proceeds do not lose value due to market volatility, making USDT/USDC preferred tools for laundering money and illicit transactions — all while propping up the Treasury market, lowering yields, and reinforcing USD dominance. 🤔

FALSE. Bessent owns soybean farmland in ND, which he leases to other farmers, and there is no evidence that any of his family members work on the farm themselves. The actual farming operations are carried out by tenant farmers rather than Bessent or his family.

Bessent is just riding out the clock, and then he’ll go back to doing whatever the fuck he does.

He could care less, he’s just putting in time hoping against all odds that he somehow comes out of this shitshow as being relevant.

So Bessent admits that recent price increases (inflation) have been attributed more to services (housing, healthcare, insurance) than to goods impacted by tariffs.

Has ANY recent Trump policy brought down the cost of housing, healthcare, and insurance?

Nope, just the opposite.

Drawdowns (and rallies) are a recurring feature of BTC’s price behaviour. The long-term trend remains upward despite frequent and sometimes severe corrections. Markets tend to reward those who can adapt to these verifiable trends by maintaining disciplined investment strategies through volatility.

Anyone who is so obviously void of dignity or integrity, like Curtis, has no place in government as an elected representative of American constituents.

This props up the US Treasury market, lowers yields, reinforces US dollar dominance. It's not rocket science.

As for money laundering,... traditional banking systems using USD dominates money laundering globally. USD accounts for 87% of foreign-exchange transactions and 80% of trade finance.

Nice try Sean.

Stablecoins were approved largely to boost demand for US Treasuries amid declining foreign buyers like China/Japan and Fed tightening. Issuers like Tether and Circle must back coins with T-bills, creating massive new liquidity. Stablecoins ranked top US Treasury buyers in 2024-25.

BTC skeptics and haters exhaustively reveal their confirmation bias by selectively focusing on debunked "ponzi" clichés while ignoring the real world data-driven evidence of network growth, global adoption, value, utility, power law fit and undeniable historical resilience. 🤷‍♂️ #btc #bitcoin

BTC has no underlying value like stocks or bonds, it is pure network demand vs. 21M cap supply. Data-driven fair value stems from power-law model (P ∝ t^5.8, R²=0.96+), tying price to adoption growth. BTC is the money protocol of the Internet. What was the Internet's underlying value?

In part, gold is gaining attention as capital rotates from USD assets in 2025. The primary reason gold is more attractive to investors in 2025 is unprecedented central bank buying, exceeding 1,000 tonnes annually amid debt, inflation, de-dollarization and geopolitical risks. #btc #bitcoin

That changed nothing. BTC doesn’t need Trump, or any other politician. BTC’s percentage growth rate in recent years is about 1.5–2 times faster than the internet’s adoption rate during its comparable early phase. #btc #bitcoin
