Rant time... A neighbor keeps telling me he has some flower (weed, legal state) for me and he'll be "right back." I've heard this four times now and he never delivers. Don't offer me something and then not do it. I've gone from thinking he's a good dude, to thinking he's an ass.

It's weird realizing at 51 that it's not the physical or sexual abuse I suffered as a child that still affects me as an adult. It's the years of being told I was stupid and lazy, as a result of undiagnosed ADHD innatentive.

I was talking with my neighbor and she got into politics. She was clearly MAGA cult and as I stood there and critisised Trump and and his goons I could she her anger raise. Then I excused myself and she screamed at herself like a crazy person... So normal Saturday for me.

Took my kitten (he's 6) to the park today, he was not a fan. Stayed snuggled under my shirt most the time. Fortunately we have one another to help when we're scared. Love him so very much.

How do I tell my therapist that I'm beginning to understand the issue with our broken medical system, lack of decent mental healthcare, abundance of firearms, and people's decisions to use violence to make their voices heard, without her having me put on a psych hold?
