Just saw the other reply about the deck list, my other questions still stand though :)

I've wanted to build Brion for ages and this reveal yesterday pushed it over the line, thank you, it's a wonderful card!

A couple questions, can we see your Brion list?
Is there a reason Bre doesn't put the exiled lands on bottom of library?
Any chance we can have a fancy in-universe Brion print?

And she's so good in a Brion deck. Give your big thing flying and lifelink, swing, fling it in second main with Brion, then flip into your next creature for free. It is odd that the land cards you exile with her pseudo discover stay exiled, that's not how most of these effects work.

Understandable. I absolutely adore your pieces that were used for the cards Spinning Darkness and Dark Ritual by the way.

Taking them to a larger card shop would be your best bet for ease. That said, how much you want for them?

I would gladly watch an hours long video of Prof and Sam just showing each other cool things from their collections and then taking about them.

If you're not using it already, Rishkar's Expertise is a truly incredible addition. Multiple times it's taken me from a tenuous position to a strong lead.

I feel like it would be easier from a memory standpoint to do this with experience counters or something like that.

Huge +2, DFT was so underrated and I blame the marketing and to a lesser extent some of the theming. There are some major bangers in it though.

Thank you for this, I hate seeing random UB arts I don't recognize when doing searches.

She just like me fr

One of the rare instances where I wish I could use the alchemy version of a card

I want so badly for this card to be good, but unfortunately it just isn't.

It's a pity we don't get regeneration anymore since it's black's only real anti-boardwipe tech. At least we've got this and Dark Dabbling I guess.

I forgot what day it is and was trying to figure out why we would be proliferating rad counters.

Carmen is a great aristocrats commander! Having not just creature but permanent recursion in the command zone is awesome.

Ah crap I'm going to have to build this.

Luckily, hybrid cards work just fine and can be included in many many decks.
October 24, 2025 at 9:42 PM
I disagree, I think it's a slide towards the lawless format that is "sealed commander" where color identity means nothing and duplicates are allowed. I also don't think we need less restriction and expansion of deck options; there are massive amounts of new cards and new commanders printed yearly.

A more apt analogy is Luigi (Hasbro) is riding around on top of Remi (WotC).

Huge agree to all of your points. No offense to Mark (and I will of course listen to his argument) but this is handwaving color identity rules for sake of convenience. Hybrid mana is awesome, I love including cards with it in my decks, but the color identity restriction is important.

I don't think there's anything I need to know about this, thanks though.
