Just talked to a staff member. Apparently they had to escalate. Four managers came in and cleared the path. Have fun with Crossplane, crossing my fingers you get to add it to the customers' projects! ☺️

Yeah, the room was super full. People were sitting on the floor on the side too, until staff made them stand up. But good to see how popular Crossplane is, now that I am having the chance to work with it at my company.

I'm using renovate now. We also have govulncheck in the pipelines. It's been yellow for a while and it is sooo annoying to wait for all the dependencies to propagate fixes for newly found CVEs. I hope I get to have green pipelines with up to date dependencies some day...

For me it means building company-specific infra tools so that all the unnecessary details coming from the cloud providers don't get in the devs' way.

We have a similar saying in Hungarian: good work takes time, bad work takes even more time 😌
