After playing around with the CMY palette I did full page swatches of the ink in my Yusari notebook. The sheening inks have such a range from full strength to washes. I experimented with lifting some of the ink using my glass pen and water.

I tried out a CMY type of limited palette using fountain pen inks. All the inks I used are from Sailor: Delaware, Yamabuki, and Yamadori. The journal is a Yusari.

Well, I just poured my Lamy Safari nib down the drain. 😭Seems like a good time to cross post my cartoony self-portrait with my comfort foods.

I’m getting sucked into the hobonichi hype. I’ve noticed the format and the paper quality makes it easy to experiment. My journal is getting more expressive. I even ventured into making a curlz heading 😄

Listening to Ethel Cain, this heading felt more fitting than my usual bubble letters.

Spending our afternoon at the botanic garden was the best decision for today. The news is exhausting and I can’t afford to get discouraged. I also just had chili dogs, a whoopie pie, and tea so that’s my equivalent of being high ✌️

Sat down and took stock of all my fountain pens in order from when I got them. 6 out of the 9 are pre-owned.

Fountain pen doodles. Blue ink drawings are drawn with a TWSBI Eco in a broad nib. Pink ink drawings are drawn with a Kaweco Sport and Medium nib. I’m using a Hobonichi notebook as my daily-ish journal.
