3mm in Warrnambool. Just constant light drizzle since 11am.
When I was a kid, we’d make tadpole nets out of coat hangers and mum’s old stockings. We’d catch a heap, put them in a bucket of their water, bring them home to our green house and look after them until they went off on their own as frogs. It was great fun!

I have been seeing these all over my garden too. They’re greengrocer cicadas. My chickens love them. 🙃
