Nice! Do you have any pointers or resources for creating translations patches for PS2? I've worked on simpler kinds of mods, usually a few asm lines changed via a pnach.
The repo is cryptic / not too useful for learning - even the game's patched executable is provided as-is instead of a patch file.

Bit perplexed by this post - why would _breaking_ encryption be necessary as opposed to reversing the client to get keys / figure out the key exchange, or patch out encryption entirely?

Has modern obfuscation / DRM protection gotten good enough to make this practically impossible nowadays?
