Spring in Pittsburgh
Ever since the accident the nerves have been very sensitive to changes in temperature. Winter is not fun, but early spring is BRUTAL. The flowers are nice though.

The popular overlooks are classic for a reason. However if you only go there you’ll miss out on a lot of really gorgeous views.

I have been involved in two major photography projects for the last many years. The second is photographing the social dance communities within Pittsburgh. Ballroom. Salsa. West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing Etc.

When it comes to photography, winter is a really difficult time. At times it can be ABSOLUTELY beautiful, other times it's totally bland. Pittsburgh at night in the cold is ALWAYS beautiful. And Orion is high in the sky. #winterwonderland #pittsburgh #winter

Blue hour in #Pittsburgh after a short #polarvortex in which the temperatures reached the coldest we've seen in a decade. The ice on the Ohio River was spectacular. I absolutely love photographing the ice. I do not care for the cold, though.

The Allegheny River and the Roberto Clemente Bridge during a brief defrost. The ice surface went from frozen to liquid in about 5 minutes. It was pretty cool to see. #Pittsburgh #art
