folk may remember the lovely social care curry phenomenon which sadly got lost during Covid . Working with basw we resurrected yesterday in Liverpool at NCASC .

2/2 with that approach are we doing more damage . Have we really recognised how much has changed ? The safe spaces are different. So as professionals how have we modified our approach to engagement, support and interventions? I’m not sure we have . Thoughts ?

1/2 Thinking about young adults today - we do have a big difference in terms of levels of worry , confidence and expectations. I think we expect them to get on the way I and my peers . We assume they aren’t as “ tough or resilient as we were “.
We see those attributes as negatives & failings.
