If anyone is having trouble flashing #meshtastic firmware, especially on an older Mac like me, try checking the USB-To-Serial drivers. It fixed a “Running stub…” issue for me.

Lordy. I’ve just realised it’s 50 years since I covered the 1975 federal election campaign, Fraser v Whitlam. For the Nine Network, with the late Peter Harvey. At the time I thought Fraser was an arsehole…but he was head and shoulders above the current Dutton rabble.

I soldered my Lilygo T Lora to a perfboard and connected a GPS module. Now I’m getting Fault Code #3 on the Meshtastic firmware. It worked fine before this. I found what the code means but what causes it?

I can’t use Meshtastic with my iPhone because the firmware need updating. You need Chrome or Edge to install Meshtastic using the web flasher. My old Mac can’t install either of those browsers because it’s ‘obsolete’.

I was up on a local hill listening to 20m band on my Tecsun PL880 (thank you Princess) with my 7 year old and 5 year old. Spinning the tuning dial I came across some CW very loud on one end and quiet on the other. Recorded it because my Morse ear is still developing and when I listened to it later…
