Completely lost Thursday, Friday and OG weekend plans due to a horrid cold - so made the most of it at home. Fence repaint, half the garden weeded, plants planted and repotted and a completely private cinema screening for £4.60 for two. Not such a wasted weekend after all.

Had a bloody wonderful time at #Birmingham Light Festival launch tonight. Took some time to tour around some of the fabulous installations, as we're away at the weekend. Do check it out if you're around town, especially the silent disco on Centenery Square!

We've been to every (I think) @phlaimeaux.bsky.social gig in Brum and Wolves over the last 15 years - but tonight was definitely one of the absolute best! Still giggling on the train home.

The Vinted gods are really coming up with the goods for my Mardi Gras themed 40th birthday party. Managing to find loads of stuff in the UK, just no baby for the king cake as yet!

Squiddy was crowned the champion at Taskmaster, but what a fabulous way to start our week! Lion king yesterday, Taskmaster today and now headed home after a mad and glorious weekend of fun in that there London.

Love a #Stirchley Sunday session. Started strong with the swap shop at Attic (got a copy of Munchkin) and then pints at Birmingham Brewing. So nice now it's more mild out.

Was feeling a bit 'meh' today, so did a very Vicky thing and planned some trips. For the first time in my life I have earned a 'reward flight' (mostly from points accumulated from business travel) so I'm off to LAS FREAKING VEGAS! Any tips for a first timer? #LasVegas

Was feeling a bit 'meh' today, so did a very Vicky thing and planned some trips. For the first time in my life I have earned a 'reward flight' (mostly from points accumulated from business travel) so I'm off to LAS FREAKING VEGAS! Any tips for a first timer? #LasVegas
Bleached, snipped, filed, painted and pierced. Ready for Christmas (even if I have two more days of work first)!

Went to work's Christmas meal, then came straight home as town felt like all the worst animals had gotten loose from the zoo. Much happier to be cosy, dry and have a fairly unlimited supply of delicious wine at home with Aliens on the box.

I was absolutely spellbound by Mark Gatiss adaptation of Christmas Carol at #Birmingham REP last night. Cherry on the cake was meeting the man himself!

Dan always asks me if I ever want anything for Christmas or my birthday and last year I actually had an answer! He Kickstarted this for me and it's finally turned up! Can't WAIT to play it
