I never knew I had picked up this habit til I started back with fountain pens a few years ago! It doesn’t stop me from using them though. I find that the Lamy Safari discourages this bc of its shape.

I have an FPR flex and Ultra Flex. The Ultra is a little flexible but not much.
Also, I bought the Himalaya model and they feel cheap and stain like crazy.
