Idk man. Vaccines are really not that scary. They prevent people from ending up in critical condition or dying bc of viral diseases. That’s a net positive.

The ableism of it all is a whole other discussion on its own though.

Also, viruses evolve overtime, so that’s why bolstering vaccines is important every so often.

Also, influenza, for example, is a very rapidly evolving virus, which is why we have annual flu vaccines to try and combat the worst and deadliest it has to offer.

Hence why there’s fucking 8 billion of us on this damn rock and lots more of us are living to be closer to 100 than not. Seems like modern medicine is actually working and effective and smart and people know what they’re doing. Almost like there’s a healthy level of trust we can hold for scientists.

This is especially important for immunocompromised people, children, the elderly, & anyone who works in environments that put them at high-risk of exposure to various diseases.

Also just bc they’re imperfect, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t bother. They clearly do more good than harm, generally.
