semivisible half moon enlightens easily 3 dozen distant geese and a deserted urban beach marked up by thousands of footprints from the previous day or days. truman show dome wall type vibe on lake michigan eery street light on park bike path mid witching hour lights up trash and recycling and trees and a table. the night behind it is awash with blackness giving the artificial whiteness of the lamp a potent and commanding dreamlike quality. the reflection of the lamplight in the iphone camera left a mark of ghostly green but i’m not mad about it. just not ideal chair at window. the green hue is a reflection of the sun on the chair and is in-camera. crazy perfect day outside. window outlooks 3 apartment buildings and 2 trees all situated dynamically. the one white car that’s always there peeks into the room every so subtly like the face of death ignore the license plates. a pic of my street out the second floor window. sunlight off a red car projects 5 massive purple sigils across the street, all strictly arranged on one dimension, on the pavement. this is all in-camera and seperate from the ambient reflections from my window. tree neatly fills the left margin of the image, and in the top third, creeping into the middle third is a rich medley of leaves, of this tree and the 2 others across the street which are mostly visible by their trunks. a curved and aesthetically confused streetlight on my side harmonizes somewhat awkwardly with the trees and looms over the purple “lettering”. the middle third of the image is marked by a golden hour flash of sunlight and the bottom third is awash in shadow, a straight line of it protruding into the bright middle.
