At 5am, after the dogs try their usual “pretend it’s breakfast time” routine…it’s peaceful. Max the dawg is snuggled up with his big ol’ head on my feet as usual. Boo is checking out the window in case of excitement.

The day will get hectic, and it won’t stop til late. But now - puppies and peace.
