Viv tried an investigative drug Onc201 but she was not allowed a combination drug on trial and the inflammation of the drug caused her tumor to herniate into her spine. I held her hand and felt the tumor grow as she lost power in her hand. Vivienne passed on March 10, 2020. @sanders.senate.gov

47 kids a day are diagnosed with cancer . That is close to sixteen thousand kids in America a year. 85% of them will survive but the rest will not. Please of all acts that come across your senate desk this is not the one to play politics with. We need more treatments affordable instate trials

Mikaela Naylon deserved more birthdays. She loved vanilla icing and vanilla cake. She licked the frosting right off. But sadly she passed from osteosarcoma. Please pass her Act and Give Kids A Chance. @chrismurphyct.bsky.social @sanders.senate.gov @senatorhick.govpeeps.us @senatorhassan.govpeeps.us

Senators, these girls don’t want your sympathy—they want your support.
Mikaela Naylon was a fierce advocate for the Give Kids a Chance Act (GKAC) She lobbied on Capitol Hill for change, and she did it with an army of girls beside her. Her squad wants Mikaela Naylon GKAC act passed. Sadly she died.
