“Radical reading” event tonight at #Leftbank #leeds on “unlocking sustainable cities” with a bunch of great panellist and a talk by @paulchatterton.bsky.social
Excellent to hear about the interplay between climate emergency, integration of minorities, and developing agency in communities.

Need a break from the news? This is the @universityofleeds.bsky.social well know heron, out fishing today in his favourite pond in the middle of campus.

Take care everyone.

Currently reading this - was on my pile for a while - it is timely. A lot of the content resonates strongly with the current US mess. That is a 2019 book, don’t say we did not see it coming…

It’s about Steve Bannon and Cambridge Analytica if you are wondering.

In the current context, I am looking at moving all my online presence to something more... healthy, let's say.

Now, that is a handy list to start with.
Behind each of these items there are further options obviously.

Hello #sustainability and #repair community in England.
I have bought a couple of chairs 🪑 on made.com some years ago, they are well loved.
The seat in one of them as come undone, and made won’t repair as they are under administration.
It’s #woven, so highly repairable. (1)

Good morning #Bluesky!
A bit or early merriment.
And 15 min late for the school drop off, too many interesting things to see on the way.

Finished this gem of a book yesterday. Becky Chambers is my new literary crush - last one was NK Jemisin.
This is great #solarpunk.

There is a lot to unpack, as Becky tends to cover a lot of topics in each books, but the whole societal conversation about Exodus vs. Mars is very topical…
