on some level i appreciate the audacity to say 'the eucalypts of australia' and cut to the forest moon of endor
screencap of that fucking horrendous coke ad. it's composed as though its a perspective shot, looking down on a collection of little thatched-roof huts surrounded by palm trees with glowing lights wrapped around the trunks. The more you stare at it the less sense it makes as any kind of depiction of the physical world. Some lights toward the back don't appear to be connected to a specific tree, and this exterior glow doesn't seem to affect how anything, bar that specific object, is lit. There's no clear sign of either the ground or horizon, and the fog bordering this space obfuscates the transition away from the landscape. It is, in a quite literal sense, a fever dream- the overheated renderings of a diseased mind.
