Might have fallen down a dark hole and questioned my entire existence for the last four-six months. Convinced myself that I cannot write and there is no point in trying.

Happy to say that I am starting to come out of that place.

I love the thought that there are folks out there creating. A painting. A piece of music. A novel. A poem. A play. A garden. Some incredible piece of architecture. There are folks creating works that will indelibly change how he we see, experience, & feel the world around us.

Something that you will not find in any of my projects is the graphic, on page torture and killing of animals.

Hard nope. Do not want.

This is the first time I haven't been on a depression medication in a decade or more.

My appetite and emotions are flowing back in full swing and a bit intense but manageable.

So far I really like being off it but we'll see if that changes and adjust accordingly.

Oh cool just over here crying over a cat who was surrendered video because I am in fact tender hearted.

Also - I dislike people alot.

My cat, Ashland, is the sweetest most annoying baby who wakes me everyday at 4am.

This has led to me getting up and getting coffee before playing sims4 instead of writing or utilizing the quiet time.

But also its kind of lovely.

We all know audiobooks are reading. Saying otherwise is ableist AF.

Torn between wanting to work on two books simultaneously. Both sapphic fantasy romance. One with a dark fae enby love interest, the other a political intrigue with ethical non-monogamy. Both with unlikable FMC who have zero morals.

Maybe the answer is both.

My wife left two days ago to start our new life in Germany after delays due to my having to have emergency surgery.

It's very surreal to know that in a few weeks my cat and I fly to Germany to join her.

I am existing in a place of excited apprehension that is making working very hard.

Writing a new draft for me is a whole process of relearning how to write even though this is the seventh book I've written. It's simultaneously hilarious and obnoxious.
