baby bureaucrat in a big bureaucracy

this is my personal account, little thoughts are all my own
My neighborhood soiree may be smaller in scale than others in Portland but I do in fact find it to be superior because I got to encounter this stroller full of perfect, precious, pittie puppies.

Salvaged the midweek play day despite the rain by bringing a sandwich and a friend with me to the top of Tom, Dick and Harry mountain. Didn't get any of the great views typically afforded up here but did wonders for my mental health.

Absolutely disgusted and heartbroken over the human caused war famine. Happy May Day. Every time I'm back home in Chicago, I make a pilgrimage to the site of the Haymarket Affair. May we never forget the roots of the labor movement here in the US and internationally.

Our community does need permission to seek joy and is unabashed in dedication to those who came before us.

A happy lunar new year to all, and may the year of the snake guide us to shed that which does not serve us and grow stronger together. 新年快乐!

Always up for trying something new outside: today's challenge was taking advantage of sunny and stable conditions to go mountaineering on Loowit (Mount Saint Helens).

Bike parking is nicely spaced as well, no jostling bigger bikes like my e-Coco or a cargo bike for space on the rack.

A bit shocking that the audience poll of attendees at #citylab2023 responded that they never or rarely ride a city bus! Where are my bus people at?
