awesome to see your effort being boosted by the press though! Might look into seeing if there's an arm of the No Cap Fund or a similar org in PA now...

again? If I had a nickel for every time a Trump admin official perjured themselves I'd have...well I'd have a significant number of nickels.

that's honestly so sad to see. and now his livelihood no doubt depends upon him remaining a conspiracist, which is just a recipe for disaster. especially after getting a tiny taste of the ambrosia that is fame after being spotlighted by Rogan. sucks it couldn't have turned out differently for him.

God he's SUCH an ass
does he do this to every single history youtuber out there?
he comes across as so desperate for the approval of actual scholars, but he behaves like a petulant child when they inevitably ignore him because he's a violent angry conspiracist

the flippant dismissal of the undefined and nebulous "online leftist" without ANY mention of the utterly unrepentantly uncompromising right wing media, influencers, or even just a "online right" makes this argument appear deeply unserious and patronizing.

it's easy to wag fingers at leftists (and it feels good too!) but there are functionally no incentives to compromise on the either side. Until incentive structures are changed (by uncapping the house!) compromises are going to be a rarity whether or not online leftists become less puritanical.

it's becoming standard right wing doctrine to support eugenics (autism registry, anti-vax, etc etc) and ethic cleansing (ICE, anti-asylum policies, scapegoating immigrant communities, great replacement theory) what compromise with these policies would be anything less than immoral and unproductive?

the school lunches example is odd, because she's using it as an example as something "online leftists" are unwilling to cross the aisle on, when Republicans consistently vote against such measures. Her point would be more salient if she offered something republicans and dems actually WOULD agree on.

100% it felt weird every time

might be conspiracy brained of me, but I feel like there's a non-zero chance the student submitted a bad essay with the goal of getting a failing grade. The speed at which she contacted the press and conservative organizations known for targeting academia makes it feel planned and targeted

one might maybe even say...anti-fascist?
