Yeah. I think if more tournaments didn't try to emulate "majors" and standardize the waterfall approach with 50+ entrants, or plan to have events be Sat/Sun (ending a bit later on Sun), that would be a little more balanced and allow people more chances/opportunities to play.

That's "sorta" what I was trying to encapsulate with the structures part, because everything is typically gauntlet or waterfall now.

Yeah, I completely get that route for you with current tournament structures and having to at least casually play the games regularly for it to be "worth" it given how generally good everyone is at everything now.
