Once someone touches the rose, everything changes. The poison from the rose begins to give the person psychedelic but vivid hallucinations as if they’re uncontrollably dreaming while awake but cannot wake up to real life.

Once someone touches the rose, everything changes. The poison from the rose begins to give the person psychedelic but vivid hallucinations as if they’re uncontrollably dreaming while awake but cannot wake up to real life.
The reason why a rose is featured in this collection + series is because I wanted to tell the story of what would happen if someone saw + touched a mystical but poisonous rose in the middle of a forest at night. The rose may be beautiful to look at at first, but everything isn’t what it seems.

To make more of the vision of the art here come to life, I made a video series too that showed + featured more of this collection. Part of this collection spoke about growth, transformation, + the journey of these things. However, these topics were only part of what the collection was about.
