Well, LinkedIn is a place for an advertisment and basically only for this. Apart from "normal" social media ads, you get lots of "look at me, I'm so cool" ads from the ppl. No sane person would try to start a discussion there, right?

Well said. Can ethics be our (humankinds) rationalization for altruism, which in fact is just an evolution-driven survival strategy? And can differences in ethical systems be explained by slightly different evolutionary pressures?

Maybe we should start to treat money for what it is - a highly addictive drug. When ppl have some they can still function pretty well, but you have to be careful, cause one can easy overdo it... and apparently there's no lethal dose ;)

On the second chromatogram You just get electronic noise. I would first check, if the ion source voltage is ok (acquisition method can change to default value after the machine restarts). Also check if the voltages in software diagnostics are all ok. It is possible that Your HV supply to died

I've learned a lot about MS during my PhD (2007-11) and did some peptide/protein analysis back then. This gave me quite nice background to learn real proteomics later on during my work in MS core facility.
