I think an underrated factor in the strength of the response to his killing is just how immediately visible it was to so many people whether or not they looked for it. I’d like to believe that there’d be a similar outrage if a school shooting was live-streamed broadly idk though

He did say we should bring public executions back. He said a lot of awful things that are pretty on the nose for the fate that befell him. He just didn’t mean for any of it to happen to him or the people he cares about.

I’m pretty sure Big Oil actually hired a lot of the same people who Big
