No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle (2010)
Can't believe it's been two years since I beat NMH1. Wanted to get back, but felt burnt out on 1's gameplay loop. Pleasantly surprised that all of my gripes were assuaged in the sequel.
5/5 - I can't wait for No More Heroes 3 in 2013 for the Wii U.

In the same vain as Speckled Band, I read this Susan Glaspell story for class, and it was an amusing mystery in its own right. I admit that a lot of it kinda sailed over my head, but not bad for assigned reading.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare (2012)
I love it when a survival horror game gets an arcade/action mode or spinoff, and this game doesn't disappoint on that front. Feels a little like Xenoblade Future Connected for scope, but that's fine I guess.

I loved The Exit 8, but my mistake was watching a Youtuber play it first, so it didn't hit the same way. As such, I deliberately avoided everything I could about Ten Bells, and the experience was 100% worthwhile for it.
4/5 - Leaned a little too heavily into jumpscares, imo.
