At the spaceport a figure suddenly announced themselves, declaring, with a smug look, that they have taken the port hostage by having artillery pieces trained on the ships and the civilians.
Finding a group of colonists at the spaceport wanting to leave they are greeted by a brilliant NHP specialist. As she answers the players questions they learn that her goal is getting the people off the planet as safe as possible by controlling the NHPs that flock to her beacon.

Arriving in orbit, the party met up with a rescue ship that is ironically in need of help.
They meet with a kind doctor who stayed in orbit to take care of the pilot who got hurt while heroically saving a rotovator.

Another character I wanted to give them was a standoff-ish kinda trucker guy who they could talk to if needed and would communicate with them from time to time.
