Would be a shame if a bunch of Americans bought trophies with a poop emoji on top; engraved the plaques with "Piece of Shit Prize"; and mailed them to the White House.

Vitamin D is an essential nutrient at recommended safe levels (Health Canada). Mega-doses can accumulate to toxic levels.

NIH: "Vitamin D toxicity can cause hypercalcemia [weakens bones], hypercalciuria, and... it may lead to renal failure, calcification of soft tissues, cardiac arrhythmias..."

A google search on your question came up with this. The first reason is fairly common in my opinion and observation (female), but the male perspective on this is welcome.

In Canada, if your healthcare, education and/or social services are shitty, then your PROVINCIAL government is shitty.

Never mind just online safety or taxing digital services, Canada also needs an Act like the EU has to reduce online mis/disinfo, algorithmic manipulation and AI deepfake stuff.

This is a break from my usual political posts to alert anyone over age 55 with high blood pressure about the very real risk of #stroke. It happened to a dear friend of mine recently. Other risk factors and risk reduction info are in the attached screenshot. - 1 of 2

Parliamentary immunity encourages the exact opposite of truthful disclosure. MPs get away with lying, and they use the dark side of social media to amplify their disinfo.
November 22, 2025 at 1:29 PM
Let's stop the bullshit disinfo about the Canadian govt being responsible for equipping Israel to inflict atrocities in Gaza.

If there are very minor contributions from private manufacturers in Canada, then criticize them, not the Feds who put export suspensions and restrictions in place.

We must stand tall, for as long as it takes, while hoping for the best but preparing for the worst from Trump.

PM Carney is doing everything in his power to grow our economy, add jobs and diversify our trading partners.

Premiers must do their part to facilitate interprovincial trade.

I like that PM Carney and his wife have passed extensive background checks. The same cannot be said for Poilievre and his wife.

As for judging Diana Fox Carney's appearance, she looks just fine with well-groomed hair, stylish clothes, and zero security issues.

They spelled delegate wrong, but this looks like a very helpful way to organize a long To-Do list.

The federal budget addresses serious labour shortages in both healthcare and construction by speeding up the process to recognize foreign credentials for those jobs.

While some news media seem intent on interviewing only complainers about the #FederalBudget, here's some balance and a valid opinion from the BoC Governor. [CTV, Nov. 6]

As posted on Reddit, here is the former Head Master's email stating that Justin Trudeau was *not* dismissed from teaching at West Point Grey Academy. He left on good terms. No scandal.

JT left Vancouver to begin studies in engineering & then environmental geography in Montreal.

It hurts when there's a personal connection. The reductions will be mainly by attrition which would include management positions.

From 2019 (pre-covid) to 2024-25, PS employment increased by 24%, whereas Canada's population increased by just 9%.

Coffee prices have skyrocketed due to supply problems (adverse growing conditions) in the coffee-producing countries of Brazil and Vietnam. Also, USA tariffs on goods from Brazil have pushed global coffee market prices upward.

Nutrition reality check. Recommended daily calcium intake for adults is 1,000+ mg for strong bones & teeth and proper nerve, muscle & heart function. Check food labels for % daily calcium/serving.

As for veg sources only, a 100% daily total is like 3+ servings of spinach at 1/2 pound each.🤷‍♀️

A fact check on claims being made and shared on Facebook about federal health transfers. I trust a Google AI review, and their identified reference material, more than I trust any John Doe on FB. Keep you wits about you, peeps!

Is it real or perception that Poilievre is an excessive spender of public funds? From what I've seen on social media, I get the impression that PP overspends with great disrespect for taxpayer funding. If true, what a jerk!

Does anyone have facts or parliamentary knowledge relating to this concern?

"Take up our quarrel with the foe" was about a united Canada vs foreign enemies. Our worst foe in 2025 is Trump's USA ( #BoycottUSA). As for China and India, Canada must use that huge trade potential but keep foreign interference in check.

Tough times, yes, but we aren't being asked to die for it.

For all the Trump fans who were so proud of how they took him seriously, but not literally... well, he's now a serious and literal dictator. His voters are just as much to blame as all spineless Republican politicians.

I will always be grateful to Bob Rae for his profound words about the illegal convoy occupation, their sedition, the border blockades, hate speech and disinformation. ✌️💖🍁

Self-prescribing herbal supplements can be a risky experiment in terms of toxicity or drug interactions. I stick to low doses of the safe basics: Vitamin D and Omega-3. My doctor and pharmacist are aware of this.

I was shocked to hear some political commentators claim that Doug Ford's ad wasn't the reason Trump terminated trade talks with Canada and slapped on more tariffs. The ad was humiliating to a narcissist like Trump. Of course the lunatic lashed out. Duh!

The first two characters of a VIN identify the manufacturing country.

#BuyCanadian (VIN starts with a 2).

#BoycottUSA (VIN starts with 1, 4, 5, 7F to 7Z, or 70).
