“Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind.” (Bertrand Russell)
Friend of mine got laid off from Twitter & it took years and a lawsuit to get the severance $$ originally promised.

I’ve since learned that the pieces stolen contain thousands of individual diamonds & other precious stones that can be removed, recut, and sold. The French police estimate that within 24 hours it was too late to recover them. Amazing.

It killed over a million Americans. Thankfully the vaccine lowers risk of severe illness so much that masking isn’t necessary except for some high risk folks.

Dying to know which megalomaniac billionaire funded this heist for his private collection

Thank you!! When my other baby was diagnosed at 11 (RIP Blueberry), I was stunned that he only had one functioning kidney & my vet said CKD usually only becomes symptomatic at stage 2 when 70% of function is lost. There are a couple preventative meds for kidneys so TLDR I need to call the vet!

Can I ask what brand of renal food your cats like? (I took a snapshot of this convo one night back in July to remember…and promptly forgot. 😋) My 8 y/o cats aren’t seniors or symptomatic but I know from experience that CKD starts early so just call me Prophylactic Mama

She’s always had extensions and half wigs (like most rich & famous women) but oy it’s getting out of hand. Wimbledon was very wiggy as well.

Does Lulu have the “drunken sailor” walk? Darla can gallop but not run and the highest she can jump is the sofa. I wonder if all CH cats also have vision issues?Darla can’t see the laser pointer and like you I have to put her right at the food plate for her to see it. She wants to sit on me 24/7. ❤️

My adorable & affectionate Darla has mild cerebellar hypoplasia. I tell everyone that CH cats have the best personalities.

From my 4th floor deck I’ve been lucky enough to experience two big crow funerals. A breathtaking phenomena. Hundreds of them descending on the same spot & making the same booming caw until they all stop in unison and depart. Couldn’t spot the dead crow from my vantage point.

Fun fact: crows/ravens are the second smartest animal in the animal kingdom (after chimpanzees)

I love Kachava though I make it with almond milk + frozen fruit & spinach in the blender. Tastes like a chocolate milkshake or a berry one (if I use the vanilla).
