Pushing through nerve pain to 100% Jedi Survivor after watching my wife play
Really like how you can get map markers for all the collectibles, but only in the late game, after doing lots of bespoke puzzles/exploring. Streamlines 100% cleanup, but without ubisoft map icon diarrhea from the start

Trying to play games i don't need to use my right thumb for. Mostly this means less action heavy games, and using switch 2's remappable back buttons.
Vibes with Gris and getting a kick out of Later Alligator, but def missing silksong and totk

Something I've come to accept about TotK's frustrating UI: it's not about laziness, or lack of clearly superior options.
It's about being simple. Easily understandable. Intuitive enough that a novice gamer could pick it up and know how to do stuff, even if it takes a second or two to actually do it

Totk's sage abilities got me wishing they were folded into the runic radial menu, instead of making you play tag with ghostly npcs
Problem is the wheel's already got 8 abilities in it, and any more than 8 is unbecoming of a radial menu. But that won't stop me from coming up with fanfic UI

Finished Andor, loved it. Currently feasting on Totk and RE Village, loving them. Got a new job, feeling generally good about it. Financially secure, good relationships, enjoying life

man totk is so good at keeping you hooked with just one more thing, one more shrine, one more curiosity to check out
(Mostly) repeated korok seeds are kinda lame tho. But I love the caves and new enemies.
Combat's surprisingly hard so far, really encouraging creative fusing. Dig it

Welp, got a Switch 2 today, so add even more to the backlog lol. Mainly TotK, now with a stable framerate (and damn quick load times, my word)
Trying to let myself enjoy it on its terms rather than forcing it to feel like BotW. We'll see, but looking up so far

honestly i'm at a point where the nerve pain is just fuckin boring to me. like yeah, it's spread to my forearms and is causing carpal tunnel symptoms, big whoop, get a new trick
