Non-quick-twitch players can still learn to use lower body strength, footwork, change of pace, ball handling, etc. to create space for themselves near the rim, and I was hoping Moody would have made more progress in these areas by now, though he occasionally shows flashes.

This is the winner.

True, though Moody could plug-and-play for a lot of teams I think.

“Get pre-qualified” for $125k/mo lol.

I want I want I want I want I want her, uh huh!

My homies and I would blast this album at lunch on our high school quad while we ate like…every…single…day.

Which is worse?

1. A boy in the girl’s bathroom

2. Raping underage girls, sending the national guard to invade our own cities, kidnapping people off the street and locking them up with no due process, giving confidential documents to Russia, etc etc etc

Get your fucking priorities straight.

Looks cool! Steam Deck compatible?

Sounds impressive, but how many of those balls did he swing at? I would never strike out looking if I just swung every time I had two strikes. 🙂

Moody’s contract goes one year past Steph’s and Dray’s. The crazy thing is Moody’s contract is 3/$39m and after his solid performance last year (before the injury) I’d much rather have Moody over JK.
August 19, 2025 at 2:48 AM
Agree, but I do think it’s the years as much as the number. By only offering two years, the Warriors are basically saying they plan to move him, and there’s a part of me that understands why JK would feel a certain way about that. Definitely not saying taking the QO is the better option for him tho…
August 19, 2025 at 2:38 AM
Fully agree with the first part of your post! But, how others value him at the end of the year will depend in large part on how he performs (though he can’t directly control his playing time or role).
August 19, 2025 at 1:35 AM
Agree, definitely a big risk! But it lets him choose his destination after this year instead of being at the mercy of wherever the Warriors trade him.
August 18, 2025 at 5:26 PM
Bottom line is, if JK is truly willing to take the qualifying offer, Warriors are in a tough position and may have to give him something better than 2/$45m or else lose the asset (and deal with his potentially toxic locker room attitude this season).
August 18, 2025 at 3:41 PM
Fair, but the way I was reading it, there isn’t any real interest from other teams in a S&T. JK wants some control over his future which means either a player option or just the one-year qualifying offer and then hit the open market (leaving the Warriors without any asset here).
August 18, 2025 at 3:35 PM
I’m not very high on JK’s future anymore, but can we just give him a third year already so we can move forward? We need some youth/athleticism on the roster, and the contract will still be tradable. The qualifying offer makes no sense.

All Blues was our wedding processional song in ‘97 (and Walkin’ was the recessional).

Hideous.

Still waiting for an EV that my wife wants to drive (and that we can afford) so we can eventually replace her 2010 328 wagon. This ain’t it.
