Yup, I left vet med for 5 years in 2020 in part because of how people reacted during Covid. A lot of anti vax sentiment for their pets and in general. I only work as a relief tech now.

Anti vax nonsense has gotten so bad, it's affecting us in veterinary medicine too. There are now cases of rabies increasing because of this. As someone who had to assist with a rabies test on a dog, I wish I could show clients pictures of what that testing requires. VACCINES WORK AND ARE SAFE

I feel this. It's so easy to feel powerless. I try to work in my community to make things better by volunteering alongside protests and stuff. At least volunteering I can actually see some good in my tiny part of the world.

I've been a customer since 2019, and was a backer on the Kickstarter a couple years ago. Sorry we've got idiot fascists in power - I'm still resisting and pushing for change where I can. Just placed my last order with y'all (for now), hoping things get better for everyone soon. Thanks for everything
