I really want Silksong to be one of the most profitable games of all time. I want it to be incredible. I want making games to look like this. I want the twats at the top to take notice.
Perhaps the biggest reason Silksong took so long was that Team Cherry never had to worry about the one thing that keeps other independent developers awake at night: money. During the production of Hollow Knight, they’d stayed lean, sometimes living off leftover triangle sandwiches that their office neighbor would bring them after meetings. “My dad would sometimes pop up and give me $20,” Gibson said. “I’d be like, ‘Oh, I’m having coffee today!’” Thanks to their first game’s massive financial success, Gibson and Pellen no longer have to scrounge leftovers. For Pellen, who has two kids and a third on the way, that’s provided an inestimable peace of mind.

Took a break from Wuchang to play And Roger. Just an hour long but it's exactly as long as it needs to be. I understood the puzzle element right away and I still was taken along for the ride. Completely recommend. I cried.

I never played Raidou as a kid as I only got into Atlus' games as an adult. However, as someone who confidently says that Eternal Punishment is the best Persona game I absolutely loved the remake. There are issues with pacing but there is so much to do, a semi open world begging to be explored 1/3

.28 R&D in Northern Ireland employs over 16,000 people and is world leading in several areas, including cyber.11 This SR grows UK R&D spending across the UK from £20.4 billion in 2025-26 to over £22.6 billion per year by 2029-30, delivering funding for Northern Ireland-based research. The SR also confirms the previously committed £2 million for Queen’s University Belfast’s Cyber AI (artificial intelligence) Hub, to continue developing research, skills and innovation across a range of cybersecurity themes and develop a skills pipeline of cybersecurity professionals with strong industry links.

Another set of job replacements at HMRC for those helping with others taxes. Anyone who has done this will know how infuriating this process is as is. Introducing AI will make accountants absolutely necessary for self assessment adding additional costs to self employed people.
5.133 The government is providing an additional £500 million TDEL from 2026-27 to 2028-29 to make HMRC a digital-first organisation. By 2029-30, a minimum of 90% of customer interactions will be digital self-serve, up from around 70% this year. This investment will improve digital services so people can easily get the information they need without having to call or write to HMRC. It will enable the use of AI to help taxpayers with their enquiries and to raise productivity within HMRC. The government will continue to ensure alternative channels, including phonelines, are still there for those who need them. HMRC will eliminate all outbound post, with limited exceptions such as letters which generate revenue for the Exchequer, reducing the number of letters HMRC sends by 75% and saving £50 million a year by 2028-29
