When very often the arguments I see unfolding are mostly related to specific “opinions” or harassment towards others rather than a mere preference. But i commented here merely because i saw myself in a screenshot—of a discussion that tired me out and eventually developed into pure hypocrisy.

Aight, but there *are* people who actively do what you’re referring to, and obviously others will be put off and disturbed by it. I was scrolling down some accounts and I just found it to be sad that one would assume you’re hated merely for a ship.

That’s not the point. It’s your assumption that “I’m one of those people they hate” which is not the case? There are some specific users they dislike as they themselves talk shit about others—it’s a cycle of vitriolic Twitter behavior. It’s however not a “you like X = I hate you” lol.

And I wanted you to know, he’s doing just fine. I came into this thread for the original post however. There are people who will like fics regardless of what the writer also enjoys, it’s not weird. And “hating” anybody due a ship is a strong word.

I was annoyed because he quote retweeted me instead of posting it separately—however we solved it out later. And while I know I often come off abrasive, he’s aware, I still discussed with him like a normal individual.
