“That’s a great hat” rather then “that hat looks great on you”
This is not a 100% assured way to not be seen as creepy, and DEFIANTLY you will be strange.
But that’s just the world and natural and warranted weariness.
Spread joy when you can, the world could use more of it.

Cause, you know, I’m still moving, but it’s a good reminder to throw out compliments here and there.
And for anyone wondering “how do I not come off creepy”
I think a good rule of thumb is to focus on an attribute, not the attribute on the person.
