“unbiased” or “impartial” is a better word choice

As a former insider, so you feel like the justices are actually “calling balls and strikes”, or are they strongly influenced by partisan political pressures such as these?

I’m not asking what the optics are, that’s clear. It’s just hard to believe former justice Breyer who swears they’re objective.

He was wrong A LOT, but he was right on occasion. Notably:

“In our nation’s 248-year history, there has never been an individual who is a greater threat to our republic than Donald Trump” —Dick Cheney

It’s possible, I guess. But he also had 5 heart attacks and got a full heart transplant in his 70s.

Everyone who finds this funny needs to immediately go read the incredible children’s book “Mr. Wuffles!”

It would be a fun challenge to make a trivia question like that, but with misnamed theorems. Like how the Cayley-Hamilton theorem was proven by Frobenius, but Frobenius’s theorem was proven by someone else. Poincare’s lemma was due to Volterra, etc.

It’s definitely just the drugs. I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Venezuela has the largest crude oil reserves in the world.

At least 16 for me. Does Fort Worth counts for Dallas? Does driving through Nashville count?

Otherwise, only missing Houston and San Antonio.

Trolling and grifting, their two favorite pastimes.

Once upon a time there were no sites, and library books did this and more.

Of course, I could have figured this out using only Google and Stack Overflow. But it would have taken *much* longer than 20 seconds. And so I probably wouldn't have even bothered.

This is the perfect example of the combination of grocery price increases + tariffs.

Friends in the Commonwealth, how much would you expect to pay for this 250g jar?

From a pedagogical standpoint, I FULLY get how dangerous AI can be for a student who relies on the technology too much and never learns foundational skills well. But this isn't that.

It's also very useful for TikZ; it usually does things better than I would have. But I'll discuss that later.

2/2

This pretty much sums it up. 😭

Cardinals. They won their two most recent WS with 83 and 90 wins, in a 6-team division. After their historic 2001 season, the M’s missed the playoffs 10 (!!!) times with 85+ wins, and 3 times with 90+. Many of those while in a 4-team division. 😩

Most of this team should have been doing what I was instructed to do in little league: TAKE UNTIL YOU GET A STRIKE.

I have a research meeting with a colleague from Toronto tomorrow and a student. There is no possible way this will go well…
