No tolerance for intolerance.

These fascists are oblivious to anything except violence. They have chosen their path. We have to chose ours.

You are choosing to bow down to fascists, letting them take over the world.

Duuuude!

ICE should be branded a terrorist organization.

There's a mistake in the head of the article: it says 2025 instead of 2005.

Please fix it before causing confusion amongst your readers!

They don't even teach about those things in school. The mayor of Tokyo denied last year that the stories about comfort women are true.

I can't wait for the Emperor of Japan to recognize the horrors committed by his grandfather and the Japanese Army as well. That might be a long wait though...

Bragging about being lazy and hurting the environment at the same time? Sheesh.

Murdered in a hate crime. It was targeted at him because he was gay. An absolute horror.

March 28, 2025 at 9:00 AM

I hope you are right. But if I have learned one thing about every LPC government ever, they always talks on the left side, and act on the right side. And this one barely promises anything left-leaning, so I am scared we are just picking the "least Conservative" of the Conservatives.

Being disappointed by the NDP has been my life since Mulcair took over 😂 I am still worried on how Carney expects to meet his goal. Coming back from a $68B deficit, cutting a measure that was expected to bring in $20B, and all that without touching social programs? I have incredible doubts.
March 24, 2025 at 2:29 AM
And even though he says wealth inequality is the biggest problem of our time, he just cancelled the capital-gain tax increase, and wants 0-deficit. Social programs will take the biggest hits, because the guy will refuse to tax wealth and companies appropriately. He is an economic conservative.
March 24, 2025 at 2:14 AM
Thank you. It is definitely less worse than I thought it was, but seeing how Guilbeault has been useless since he joined Trudeau's cabinet, I do think there's gonna be a massive lack of representation and that many programs will immensely suffer from this. Carney's priorities are only economical.
March 24, 2025 at 1:56 AM
To me, this means that the Department doesn't exist anymore, and they fused two of them into one, with Guilbeault being responsible for both. Again, I think the consequences of that are way much dire than what you think. And dozens of associations think so too.
March 24, 2025 at 1:43 AM
It might be misunderstanding, but this is from CBC: "Carney gave Steven Guilbeault an expanded cabinet role called "Canadian culture and identity, Parks Canada and Quebec lieutenant." The Prime Minister's Office says his portfolio includes women and gender equality along with official languages. "
March 24, 2025 at 1:41 AM
There isn't a dedicated department for it anymore. Everything that could be related to DEI has been essentially removed. Everyone working in organisations defending those issues have been vocal about the consequences of these actions: it will lack proper funding, and slowly be forgotten.
March 24, 2025 at 1:31 AM
Go read about Carney, and watch what he is already doing. The guy was Head of the Bank of England ffs. He was spearholding the destruction of the middle class in the UK for almost the last decade.
March 23, 2025 at 10:09 AM
And whose fault is that? Right. The LPC.
