encounters are over before the gameplay really gets rolling and the team attacks also bring combat to a halt. It just does not mesh well with the mmo like combat. Then having people really defend the stories of the last two games like they had any lore or aesthetic similar to XBC1 and Xenogears too.

I liked 2 for what it is but I've played a little of 1 and I probably would prefer it. 3's gameplay I'm not a big fan of because there's a constant halt to gameplay as there's so much focus on team comp--

Xenoblade 1 and X from what I heard from a friend is that they were going in a better direction than 2 and 3, which are the ones I have played a lot of. Which are steps back, in my opinion

Retiring Tiger was pretty dumb considering the successors/borutos are really stale as characters, I hope there's a third season to actually give the series a real send off

I play Ever Crisis but I'll ignore it when I get my hands on Rise of Ronin. Substantial video games have more priority.

There was only 4 other games in the running in 2021, much smaller too. Virtua Fighter 5 re release for example, pretty dead. You have two triple A games and Granblue here, like I agree it doesn't make sense but I guess they just are going to ignore it.

Maybe it did but has Arcsystems been on here before? Pretty sure its because French bread is not a big dev and not a mainstay in the west. Those are factors for the VGAs, real arbitrary criteria for them.
