heads up that bluesky doesnt show posts from other languages by default on your timeline, and its cutting you off from a lot of the community
go to bsky.app/settings/lan... and deselect any language from this setting, or else you might not see any of the new japanese users at all!

My critical thinking can't keep up with the deluge. Scrolling feeds has made me more accepting of info without taking the time to verify all of it because there's too much. I've always tried to be skeptical but being presented with info all the time I didn't search for makes it harder to practice.

I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

If bluesky wants to be very clean, no problematic, then sure, but MAAAN the internet needs some spaces where people can be weird again.
I really don't enjoy non-con stuff *at all*, but stamping on the feet of people who do is just... why? Who cares? Same goes for any weird kink. I just don't get it.
