Many lab members attended the fabulous ICTS-ICTP
@ictstifr Winter school on quantitative systems biology workshop.

I gave a few lectures on the surprising effects that noise can have on the dynamics across scales, group behaviour to populations, ecosystems & evolution.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the amazing theoretical ecologist Priyanka Amarasekare from UCLA and showing around CES and @iiscbangalore

Our work provides a math framework unifying various previous results on the effects of stochasticity on evolutionary outcomes: journals.uchicago.edu/doi/full/10....

Several faculty of the Centre for Ecological Sciences, IISc have put together an online course on Fundamentals of Ecology, to be offered via NPTEL platform from Jan 2025.
