I'm so sorry. I had to make that decision earlier this year for my baby kitty and it was heartbreaking. I'm so sorry you have to go through that too.

I know I'm blessed with wonderful friends and I fully believe you have those as well. That said, friendship isn't a conditional transaction and even if you don't want to "trauma dump" on them, I'm sure they'd all love to hear from you about anything you want to reach out about in the meantime

As someone who has persistent depression and has had to deal with a lot of death of love ones, your friends understand that you're just surviving. True friends will be there when you are able to pop back up and will be willing to celebrate all the things when you're ready, whenever that is 💙

One of my dear friends told me once "you look nice today, but your eyes look tired." I had the initial reaction your coworker did just because I was so use to my mother insulting my looks. I had to take a step back and realize that it was just my friend caring for me.

I first need to see how many we have, (I've since thought of at least three elephants I own) and will be getting rid of one if I find out I have an even number. Thank you for my new superstition 🙂

If it's any consolation, I am now trying to figure out if I have any elephants in my house and how many I might have just in case I have an even number. It might explain some things...

Would you actually need to give two away at a time so you don't risk having an even number of elephants? Though, I guess that would just be dooming all your yard sale patrons. :(
