Last Saturday ran the Soldier Field 10 Mile. It was surprisingly cool (has been cool lately). My wife and I made a weekend out of it and stayed downtown for the weekend (we live in the Chicagoland suburbs).

Meant to post last Saturday. Awesome haircut from my niece who works at a salon in the Merchandise Mart (my wife got one too). Thanks Autumn. Nice to have family in business. And it's always fun to hop a train downtown (Chicago) and grab dinner somewhere new.

This is Tesla (Christmas, she was holding the toys from 4 dogs who were in our house at the time). She's named after the scientist, not the nazi cars. We've been calling her "Tessie" in public out of embarrassment.

Yeah, I definitely don't think things are getting better. And when billionaires talk the necessity of some pain, they mean pain for OTHER people, and it's "necessary" to enshrine an unassailable oligarchy.
