I think that's a reasonable concern. It is hard to predict one's own behavior, especially to something as personal as your appearance, and the uncertainty would give me doubt too. I think that doubt is warranted. It's not a common issue, but it can happen. FWIW, I think "flaws" make you look real.

It tends to be villainized, and that's for a good reason, but I think should you find yourself continuously bothered by it even after practicing mindfulness techniques, a surgery to correct an asymmetrical chin is one of the least worrisome changes you could make to yourself.

I wouldn't put past getting a surgery for something that would improve the way you feel about yourself. From one of the many reasons people choose to get plastic surgery, your issue is a common one, and risks are mitigated by choosing a qualified surgeon with prior experience and proper care.
